Introduction: International Students at Murray State University's School of Nursing and Health Professions

The School of Nursing and Health Professions at Murray State University gives international students the skills they need  to meet the health care needs of society and provide leadership in nursing. All programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and the Nurse Anesthesia program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs.

Students in these programs can study athletic training, community health and exercise science. The courses prepare future health professionals by providing students with essential discipline-specific and interdisciplinary skills. Students learn through hands-on laboratory experiences, practicums, internships, supervised practice experiences, research experiences and service learning opportunities.

This program offers both graduate and undergraduate degrees. The programs train students interested in pursuing careers like clinical nurse specialists, family nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists.
